About Author

This guy is perfect to teach you, how to use C++ programming to solve the real world problems. he has an great Knowledge in C/C++ programming. he designs many projects including some back-end programming, developing games, and some desktop apps.

C++ Overview.

C++ is known to be a very powerful language. C++ allows you to have a lot of control as to how you use computer resources, so in the right hands, its speed and ability to cheaply use resources should be able to surpass other languages. Thanks to C++’s performance, it is often used to develop game engines, games, and desktop apps. Many AAA title video games are built with C++.

    The carefully powerful stand picture truly deceives
    the challenger to the edge – we could manipulate our poor image to bluff important containers.

  • Shahid Sarwar Posted August 3, 2017 10:59 am

    This is my first interaction with infobrother and i found it quite attractive even that since morning i am following it for my oop practice but i have one confusion regarding data abstraction. Because i have learned data abstraction from your site and from some other sites as well but they were not reflecting this part of data abstraction as mentioned below:-
    This definition i have learned for data abstraction in oop

    “hiding unwanted information from outer objects and exposing only relevant information to outer objects.”

    would you please explain this scenario with the help of code by taking any real world problem.
    anxiously waiting for your reply Sir
    Thanks in Advance

    • Sardar Omar Posted August 10, 2017 4:52 am

      Mr Shahid,
      Using Access Labels, we can hide the unwanted information from outside world, using public, private and protected keyword. in C++, you don’t know how Your Cin>> or cout< < work. because its definition is hidden inside the library.

      In other words, Data Abstraction make complex system simple by hiding the unnecessary detail from the user.

      check out this tutorial,
      >Data Abstraction in C++

      to make your concept clear.

    Hi InfoBrother, I have 2 numbers A, and B, how can I write the program in C++ to find out the value of A raised to the power of B??
    thank you. and really appreciate your answer.

    • Sardar Omar Posted June 15, 2017 3:49 pm

      Hi Sara, thanks for Visiting.
      Here is the simple example to find out the value of A raised to the power of B.

      #include<iostream>
      using namespace std;

      int main()
      {
          int A, B,result=1;
          cout<<"Enter the Value of A: ";
          cin>>A;

          cout<<"Enter the Value of B: ";
          cin>>B;

          for(int i=1;i<=B;i++)
          {
              result = result*A;
          }

          cout<<"Result :"<<result;

          return 0;

    Hy Sir Omar ..How are you.
    i have question please tell me something about this
    before i have make the program to take the number from the user and check it waether it is even or odd
    and now i have smae situation but this time i am making a program to check the number weather it is prime number or not
    i know how to write a program for this but its condition to check the prime number is making lots of problems for me because i have never concept of prime numbers so please help me in this very little program
    by using any loop or espaciialy for loop

    • Sardar Omar Posted May 28, 2017 6:47 am

      Hi Areeha,

      The prime number is a whole number greater than 1, whose only two whole-number factors are 1 and itself. and The first few prime numbers are 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, and 29. Make it Clear..

      /*This program takes a positive integer from user and stores
       it in variable number. using for Loop it will check whether the
       Entered Number is Prime or not:*/

      #include <iostream>
      using namespace std;

      int main()
      {
         int number; //to Store the User Entered Number:
         bool isPrime = true;

         cout << "Enter a positive integer: ";
         cin >> number;

         /*The First Loop will checks whether the number entered
           by user is perfectly divisible by i or not. */
         for(int i = 2; i <= number / 2; ++i)
          {
            /*If the number entered by user is perfectly
            divisible by i then, isPrime is set to false and
             the number will not be a prime number.*/
            if(number % i == 0)
            {
                isPrime = false; //set to false, if the Number is Divisible by i:
                break;   //to Exit the Loop:
            }
          }

         if (isPrime) /*if the Boolean value is still true:
                         mean the Number is Prime: */
            cout << "This is a prime number";

        else /*else the Boolean value is false: and
                 the number is not prime: */
            cout << "This is not a prime number";

         return 0;
      }

      I hope, This example is enough for You to Understand. if still face any problem, feel free to contact.

      Areeha,

      check out this code… its working same as you want…

      #include<iostream>
      using namespace std;
      int main()
      {
        int number,      //to store user input number to make table;
            counter,    //for counter;
            ans;        //to exit/continue loop:

        do
        {
            cout<<" Enter the Number: ";
            cin>>number;

            counter=1;
            if(number>10)
            {
                cout<<" Number should be less then 10: "<<endl;
            }

            else
            {
                while(counter<=10)
                {
                    cout<<number<<" x " <<counter<< " = " << number*counter<<endl;
                    counter++;
                }
              cout<<"\nEnter any Number to continue the Program or 0 to exit: " ;
                cin>>ans;
            }

        }while(ans != 0 ); //user will press zero, and the program will end;

      appreciated…!!

  • Faiza Ali Posted March 16, 2017 1:08 pm

    Hi This is Faiza from Islamabad. I have been learning C++ since 2015. and I am good in C++, but still I have some problem with it. the problem is that, I don’t know how to use C++ in real world. I mean how I can make some good working project using C++??

    • Sardar Omar Posted March 17, 2017 8:17 pm

      HI Faiza, This is the common problem with new Programmers. do don’t worry about it.
      The design process can be challenging for large projects, but for small practice problems it shouldn’t be. Ask yourself the following questions:

      • what you want to do exactly?
      • How You can do it? etc.

      and try to design a small program based upon your skill level. If you have experience in non oop languages like c, you can probably design a functional c++ program if you take the time to think out the problem. Otherwise, you can try to build a small c++ program, like a simple calculator. Design and programming is an iterative process, so it will take time to design and build a useful program in c++. Also, remember that Stroustrup, the creator of c++, built the language with commercial usage in mind, such that design and analysis to write programs is a software engineering principle, more than a simple coding task. But understanding design will give you the framework for thinking through your ideas and eventually building useful applications.

      • Faiza Ali Posted March 18, 2017 3:20 pm

        Thank you sardar Omar. I’ll try to do it.

  • Joseph jon Posted February 12, 2017 2:20 pm

  • Sania Khan Posted February 3, 2017 12:00 pm

    C++ or C#, Which one is better to learn ?

    • Sardar Omar Posted February 3, 2017 4:25 pm

      C++ and C#, both are great Programming languages. but C# is easy to learn than C++.

      • Faizan Posted February 3, 2017 6:43 pm

        In school, why we were taught C++ as our first language and then taught JAVA. I don’t know why they taught it to us this way but I think it has definitely helped in the long run; To be honest, I think C++ is a very powerful language and you can definitely benefit from learning it first.

        • Sardar Ali Posted February 4, 2017 8:40 pm

          Likewise, when I started to learn java after C++, I felt like I could conquer the world.
